This is my first entry

This is my first entry into my blog. Christmas has just passed and I am sitting here wondering about the New Year coming up.  You know, the normal stuff, what has the year been like in 2005, how can I change things for 2006.

I find it very introspective, especially since the New Year also brings about a real new year for me as my birthday is January 3rd.  This is the biggy for me. I will be 50 years old this year. There are lots of things to think about. How my life has gone so far, what mistakes I’ve made, how can I change things for the rest of my life…you know the common things one thinks about with a new year approaching.

I’ve written quite a few articles that I hope to put up in the blog for you. Most are motivational articles but I also have some stuff to say about size acceptance and self-love.  I also want to take the opportunity to give my views on the “church” today.  I am in the midst of writing a book entitled “The Pharisee Phenomena”.  I see a lot of legalism and emotional abuse going on in the churches and I want to take my stand on that.

I am currently involved in Success University and I am so happy to have stumbled upon it.  They are a personal development site with great audio and video content from some of the top speakers available, such as Jim Rohn and Les Brown, Tony Alasandra among others.
